Compared with developed countries, the product and technology gap in China's packaging machinery industry mainly manifests in the following aspects:

 

From the perspective of product structure, there are only over 1300 types of packaging machinery in China, such as beverage packaging machines, robot boxing machines, and other models. Their supporting quantities are small, and they lack high-precision and large-scale production products, which cannot meet market demand. The difference in product quality is manifested in low product performance, poor stability and reliability, unattractive appearance, rough surface treatment, poor quality of many components, short lifespan, and low reliability, which affects the overall quality of the product; From the perspective of enterprise situation, the domestic packaging machinery industry lacks leading enterprises, and there are not many enterprises with large production scale and high product grade; From the perspective of product development, China is still mostly in the testing and imitation stage, with weak self-development capabilities.
