1, Installation standard for comprehensive protection of belt conveyors
(1) Anti slip protection
1. The role of anti slip protection
The function of the anti slip protection device is to automatically stop the belt conveyor when the driving drum slips and rubs against the conveyor belt. The anti slip protection used in our mine is mainly achieved by combining speed sensors with magnetic steel.
2. Installation position of anti slip protection
⑴ Speed sensor type anti slip protection device: Install the magnet on the side of the redirecting drum, and install the speed sensor on the belt frame corresponding to the magnet. The center of the speed sensor probe should be aligned with the center of the magnetic steel, and both should be firmly fixed with screws, with a distance of 5-10mm, and the action should be sensitive and reliable.
⑵ Roller type anti slip protection device: The speed sensor should be installed on the surface of the lower tape, and the tape should maintain sufficient driving friction with the roller. It is required to be firmly fixed, and the deviation from the belt centerline should not exceed ± 100mm.
3. Test method for anti slip protection
The test method for sensor type anti slip protection device is to keep the sensor away from the magnetic steel, and the belt conveyor should be able to automatically stop after a delay of 5 seconds.
The test method for roller type anti slip protection device is to lift the roller off the surface of the belt, and the belt conveyor should be able to automatically stop after a delay of 5 seconds.
4. Test cycle for anti slip protection
Anti slip protection should be tested once a day during maintenance, and test records should be filled out.
(2) Coal stacking protection
1. The role of coal heap protection
The function of the coal stacking protection device is to automatically stop the belt conveyor when coal is piled up by the conveyor head.
2. Installation position of coal stacking protection
(1) When two belt conveyors transfer and overlap, the coal stacking protection sensor should be hung in front of the unloading drum. The horizontal position of the sensor contact should be directly above the coal falling point, and the distance from the highest point on the lower belt surface should not exceed 500mm. The hanging height should not be higher than the lower edge of the unloading drum. When installing, the condition of the sprinkler device should be taken into consideration to prevent misoperation of the coal stacking protection.
(2) When the tape is directly overlapped with the coal bin, install a coal stacking protection sensor at the full bin position and 500mm above the coal chute drop point respectively. Both coal stacking protection sensors must be sensitive and reliable.
(3) The coal stacking protection control line should be vertically led down from the roof of the tunnel, and the sensor contacts should be hung vertically and reliably fixed. It is strictly prohibited to swing with the wind flow to avoid protection misoperation.
(4) When the head of the belt conveyor is installed with an iron remover or other facilities, which affects the installation of the coal stacking protection sensor, a dedicated bracket should be processed and installed to ensure that the sensor is firmly fixed.
3. Test methods for coal heap protection
When the belt conveyor is running normally, the contact of the coal stacking protection sensor is manually pushed to activate the protection. The belt conveyor should be able to automatically stop after a delay of 1-3 seconds.
4. Coal pile protection test cycle
It should be tested once a day during the maintenance period and the test record should be filled out.
(4) Anti deviation protection
1. The function of anti deviation protection device
The function of the anti deviation protection device is to delay the automatic shutdown of the conveyor when the conveyor belt deviates.
2. Installation position of anti deviation protection device
(1) Install a set of deviation protection sensors at the head and tail of the belt conveyor. When the tape of the belt conveyor deviates, the tape pushes the rolling guide rod. When the guide rod of the deviation sensor deviates from the centerline by 15 ° ± 5 °, the deviation switch acts, and the protector host starts to alarm, but it does not cause shutdown; After a delay of 5-15 seconds, if the tape is still in a deviation state, the protector host will automatically cut off the power supply and achieve parking.
The anti deviation device should be installed vertically on the channel steel on both sides of the belt conveyor head frame, about 5 meters away from the unloading drum of the machine head. The installation should be firm and not hinder the movement of the sensor's guide rod.
3. Test method for anti deviation protection device
The deviation protection test method is to manually push the rolling guide rod of the deviation sensor during the normal operation of the belt conveyor, causing the limit switch to operate. After a delay of 5 to 15 seconds, it can automatically stop as normal.
4. Test cycle of anti deviation protection device
The anti deviation protection sensor should be tested once a day during maintenance and the test record should be filled out.
(5) Temperature protection
1. The role of temperature protection
The function of temperature protection is to prevent the conveyor belt from slipping on the driving drum, causing friction between the conveyor belt and the driving drum. When the bearing temperature at the driving drum rises to 60 ℃, the protector acts to stop the belt conveyor.
2. Installation position of temperature protection device
The thermoelectric coupling type over temperature sprinkler protection sensor should be fixed on the main drive drum bearing seat (bearing seat); When using an infrared sensor, the sensor emission hole should be directly facing the end cover (tile seat) of the main drive drum bearing for detection, and the distance between the sensor and the main drive drum is 300-500mm.
3. Test methods and cycles of temperature protection devices
The temperature protection sensor should be checked and simulated once a day, replaced once a month. The replaced sensor should be simulated on-site with hot water on a ground test bench. If it is not sensitive, it should be repaired in a timely manner as a backup. Carefully fill in the test records.
(6) Smoke protection
1. The role of smoke protection
The function of the smoke protection device is to automatically sound and light an alarm and cut off the power supply of the belt conveyor when a fire is caused by friction or other reasons of the belt conveyor and smoke is generated in the surrounding area and reaches a certain concentration, achieving smoke protection.
2. Installation position of smoke protection sensor
The smoke protection sensor should be installed directly above the upper belt at a distance of 5-15m from the downwind side of the belt conveyor head, and not more than 300mm from the top plate.
3. Test methods and cycles for smoke protection devices
Smoke protection should be checked and simulated once a day. The replaced sensor should be simulated on-site with smoke on a ground test bench. Any sensor that is not sensitive should be repaired in a timely manner as a backup. Carefully fill in the test records.
(7) Over temperature automatic sprinkler device
1. The function of the over temperature automatic sprinkler system
The function of the automatic sprinkler device is to protect the temperature when the conveyor belt slips on the driving drum, causing friction between the conveyor belt and the driving drum. When the temperature rises to 60 ℃, the temperature protection action will disconnect the power supply of the belt conveyor and achieve automatic shutdown. Simultaneously command the solenoid valve to open, achieving simultaneous watering, extinguishing, and cooling of the drive tape and drive drum.
2. Installation position of over temperature automatic sprinkler device
The automatic sprinkler solenoid valve should be fixed on the belt frame on one side of the conveyor drive drum, and the nozzle should be located above the main drive drum to ensure firm installation. When spraying water, it can simultaneously extinguish fire and cool down the drive belt and drive drum. The pipelines on both sides of the solenoid valve must be installed in place.
3. Test method for overtemperature automatic sprinkler system
The solenoid valve of the over temperature automatic sprinkler device should be replaced once a month. The replaced solenoid valve should be powered on the ground test bench for simulated on-site testing. If the action is not sensitive, it should be repaired in a timely manner as a backup. And carefully fill in the testing and testing records.
(8) Emergency stop pull switch
1. The function of the emergency stop pull switch
The function of the emergency stop pull wire switch is to enable the operator to operate the running tape conveyor on site under certain special circumstances, so that the running tape conveyor can immediately stop running.
2. Installation position of emergency stop pull switch
The emergency stop pull switch is installed on the pedestrian side of the tape conveyor frame for easy operation and observation. One switch is installed every 50 meters from the head to the tail of the tape conveyor. All pull switches should be connected with steel wire ropes, with moderate tension and consistent sag.
3. Test method for emergency stop pull switch
The test method for emergency stop wire switch is to manually tighten the steel wire rope during the normal operation of the belt conveyor, and the belt conveyor can stop running, and the locking belt conveyor switch is normal.
4. Test cycle of emergency stop pull switch
The emergency stop pull switch should be tested once a day during maintenance and the test record should be filled out.
(9) Tear protection
1. The role of tear protection
When the belt tears, material (coal) falls into the sensor, blocking the infrared transmission of the photoelectric switch. The tear protection device acts, and the belt conveyor is powered off and stopped.
2. Installation position of tear protection device
The tear sensor is installed on the belt frame at the back of the belt conveyor head, located between the upper and lower belts, parallel to the belt, with a distance of 100mm from the upper belt, and firmly fixed.
3. Test method for tear protection
The test method for tear protection is to manually block the infrared output or receiving end of the photoelectric switch with obstacles during the normal operation of the tape conveyor, and the tape conveyor can stop running as normal.
4. Test cycle for tear protection
Tear protection should be tested once a day during maintenance, and test records should be filled out
